We support all Microsoft PowerPoint formats: PPT (PowerPoint 97-2003) with RC4 encryption and PPTX (PowerPoint 2007+) with AES-128/256. We also support PPS, PPSX, POT, POTX, and PPTM files.

Can you remove editing restrictions?

If you can view the presentation but can't edit or modify slides, that's Modify protection — not an open password. Modify protection can usually be removed by saving as a new file. Our service recovers open passwords — when you can't open the file at all.

How long does PowerPoint recovery take?

Are older PPT files easier to recover?
